Pause or Delete your Account

Delete Your Account 

You’ll need to delete your before account while signed into the app. Note: When you delete your account you will permanently lose matches, messages and other info associated with it. 

To delete your account via before user settings: 

  1. Sign in to the before app
  2. Tap the profile button in the navigation bar displaying your profile picture
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Close Account

Pause Your Account 

If you want to take a break from before, without deleting your account, you can hide your profile. You will not be shown as a recommendation to others. However, people you already liked may still see your profile and match with you. You can still see and chat with your matches. 

To pause your account: 

  1. Sign in to the before app
  2. Tap the profile button in the navigation bar displaying your profile picture
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Pause Account
