Also in: BerlinHamburgCologneMunichZurichMadridBarcelonaMexico CitySão Paulo (Portuguese)

Ten groups to run with in Paris, on weekday evenings and at weekends, from local associations to international networks and brands. Where, when, who for.

Sweaty runners by the water in Paris at night, after the run: two chat, a runner with a head torch catches his breath, hands on his knees, another drinks from a bottle, a woman in a reflective vest stretches near the bikes, and the lights of the quays are reflected in the water

Running in a group has become a simple way to meet people in Paris: a regular meet-up, a shared route and, often, a coffee or a drink afterwards. According to the Observatoire du running 2026, 13.2 million people in France say they have run in the past twelve months, and according to Connexion (July 2026), more and more clubs combine running with a meal or with culture. Le Bonbon (April 2026) presents seven Paris run clubs, from independent crews to brand shops. This guide only lists groups we could confirm were active in 2026.

The groups one by one

Paname Run Club (places to check with the club)

A sports association founded in 2022 which, according to its website, wants to support young Parisians in running and "promote meeting people" through sport. Running there is "a fabulous excuse to get together", with no judgement on performance. On Tuesdays it's the "Mardisco": a DJ set after the run. According to Le Bonbon (April 2026), the Sunday run is longer and offers three pace options. According to the website, the runs are free and open to everyone. To follow its announcements, the club points to Instagram, WhatsApp and Strava; on Strava, it announced its October calendar in September 2026. panamerun.com

Front Runners de Paris (stadiums and parks)

The association describes itself as "an LGBTQIA+ running club since 1992", the first Front Runners club in France, and says it is "open to everyone". No minimum running standard is required, and it has more than 750 members. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:25 pm at stadiums, for example the stade Élisabeth in the 14th or the stade Léo-Lagrange in the 12th, and at weekends at 10:10 am in a park that varies between sessions, such as the bois de Vincennes or the Buttes-Chaumont. You choose 6, 9 or 12 km, and on Saturdays a gentle 6 km session alternates running and walking. You can come for a trial session with no commitment; for the 2026/2027 season, membership costs 30 € a year, with a reduced rate of 13 €. Beyond running, the association also organises parties, games afternoons and a book club in a café. frontrunnersparis.org

Kiin Run Club (Marais)

An independent crew that started in 2020, after lockdown, and runs from Le Peloton Café, in the 4th. According to runningcrews.com and Le Bonbon (April 2026), it runs on Sundays at 9 am and also on Wednesdays; the two sources disagree on the Wednesday time, so check with the club before you go. On Strava, the club announced in July 2026 that it would be back in September. Runners split into pace groups; the slowest is called "Sexy Pace", and nobody is left behind. According to runningcrews.com, you don't need perfect French. Le Bonbon, April 2026, Kiin on Strava

Midnight Runners Paris (venues vary)

The Paris branch of an international running network. The main format is the "Bootcamp Run": 8 to 10 km on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with music and stops for exercises every few kilometres. According to the club, most participants run at between 4 and 6 minutes per kilometre. There are also long runs, track sessions for all levels and fancy-dress Party Runs followed by an afterparty. The starting point changes; check the run's announcement on Heylo. The club recommends booking ahead, as some runs have a limited number of places. After the Bootcamp Run, the club also invites you to stay to chat and have a drink. midnightrunners.com

Founders Running Club Paris (Tuileries)

The meet-up is every Saturday at 9:30 am at the octagonal pond in the Tuileries, with three pace groups; according to the announcement on Heylo, to join the slowest group, you need to be able to run for 30 minutes at a pace of 6 min 15 s per kilometre. Check the duration in the run's announcement. Then it's time for coffee and conversation. You sign up on Meetup or on Heylo, and English is the main language. Founders Running Club Paris on Meetup

Paris and Sans Clue Hash House Harriers (different metro stations)

A "hash" is a game in which you follow a marked trail: one or two people, the "hares", lay a route in chalk or flour, and the group follows it, often over 5 to 15 km, much of which you can also walk. The group, an English-speaking community, runs every weekend in Paris and the surrounding area, alternating between Saturday (Paris H3) and Sunday (Sans Clue H3), at 2 pm; the meeting point varies from run to run and is often given as a metro station or exit. For several runs announced in 2026, the "hash cash" was 5 €, club fees and beer included; check the amount in each announcement. Beer is part of the format: there is at least one stop on the way and another at the finish. On Thursdays at 7 pm, the group also meets in a bar. Paris H3 on Meetup

Circle Run Club (10th)

The run club of a sportswear brand, with coaches. Every Tuesday at 7 pm, starting from the shop on rue de Marseille, in the 10th. Depending on the session, the programme includes warm-ups, technique drills, intervals, threshold work or an endurance run of 50 minutes to an hour, with a cool-down; once a month, the session is held with partner brands. You can change and leave your things at the shop. You sign up on Heylo, and the club is aimed at "beginners or seasoned runners". After the run

Simple questions work: "Do you run this route often?", "Have you been coming for long?", "Are you training for a race?" If the club has a WhatsApp group, look there for the run announcements. And if you got on well with someone, suggest running together the following week.

For people who lead a run club

If you lead a run club like these, you know the moment after the coffee when everyone heads off without swapping numbers. before is a web app for organisers. Before the start you show the QR code on your phone; runners check in with it in their browser, without installing an app, and anyone who likes takes a selfie. The day after, the afterparty is open from 10 am to 8 pm. Anyone who shared a selfie sees everyone else who shared one there and can press the button for meeting again for up to five people. At 8 pm everyone finds out at the same time who wants to see each other again, and only then does a chat open. One-sided wishes stay invisible, and nobody receives a rejection. Nobody needs a profile. More on the page before for organisers.

The afterparty opens after your event

When you check in at an event powered by before, you get the link by email, no later than 24 hours after it ends.
