At a shared table you sit next to people you have never met, and the food gives you the first thing to talk about. Berlin has had supper clubs in private flats for more than fifteen years. This guide lists only tables we could confirm with a source from 2025 or 2026.

Timeleft (changing restaurants)
An app that puts you at a restaurant table with a small group of strangers, matched by a short questionnaire on personality, age range and language. According to Timeleft, the Berlin dinners take place on Wednesdays; the restaurant is revealed shortly before. You pay a subscription or whatever plan is currently offered, plus your own food and drinks; check the plans when you book. timeleft.com
Strangers' Supper (changing restaurants)
Describes itself as a Berlin fine dining club: new people, good restaurants, no membership fee, you pay for what you order. Dates go out on Telegram and Instagram; the group names no clear fixed rhythm. strangerssupper.com
Rat Supper Club (rotating locations)
Run by two architects from Italy, with seven to eight courses and optional wine pairing. According to The Berliner (July 2025), dinners take place monthly on two consecutive evenings for 10 to 12 guests, in flats and event spaces. In February 2026 the studio also hosted an evening at a gallery. @ratsupperclub
The Seasoned Path (Neukölln)
A young supper club where the chef introduces each of the three courses with a personal story, with local art and live performance around it. A benefit dinner at Van Hofen in Neukölln was announced for 30 November 2025; according to an interview, the edition before sold out. Tickets are sold online, dates are irregular. Report on Substack
Clementine Supperclub (Neukölln)
Ran on single evenings in early 2025 in the Clementine Club, the private dining room of Orangerie Neukölln by Körnerpark: a plant-based three-course sharing menu with wine or alcohol-free pairing, 59 € on 14 February 2025. The Valentine's edition was a friendship night: bring your best friend or meet new people. We found no newer open dates; the Orangerie currently offers the room mainly to private groups. C*SPACE Dinner Social Club (Weißensee)
Themed dinners in a former furniture factory on Langhansstraße, cooked with changing hosts from food, art and culture. In 2025 there was a Lunar New Year dinner, a Berlin Shanghai Night and a European Language Dinner, among others. Past dates are on Meetup, current ones in the C*SPACE programme. Meetup group
The Shared Spoon (a Berlin flat)
A small series with irregular dates: home-cooked suppers, including South Indian dinners, plus the odd coffee afternoon or brunch. In 2026 there have been events in January, February, April and June, among others; groups are small. Meetup group
Über den Tellerrand (Schöneberg)
The association cooks with people with and without refugee or migration experience, mostly at its Kitchen Hub in Schöneberg, several times a month and free of charge. "Kochen mit Freundinnen" is a monthly cooking evening run by a group of women* as a safer space for women* of different backgrounds. Sign up per event. ueberdentellerrand.org
KüFa im Torhaus (Tempelhof)
A "Küche für alle" at the edge of Tempelhofer Feld: on the third Saturday of the month, people cook together from 16:00 with rescued and regional food, and eat at 19:00. The listing is for children from eight, teenagers and adults; you pay what you can, 0 to 10 €. Date on 17 October 2026 in Umweltkalender Berlin
How to find the right table
- Budget: free community kitchen, restaurant bill, or a ticket around 60 €?
- Group size: six people talk as one table, thirty people talk in pockets.
- Food: vegan, allergies, alcohol-free pairing? Ask before you book.
- Language: is the evening in English or German? The listing usually says.
- Booking: follow Instagram or Meetup, because small tables have few seats.
- Getting home: dinners often end late, so check the last train before you book.

For supper club hosts
If you host a table like these, you know the moment at the door when guests leave without having swapped numbers. before is a small web app for hosts of such evenings: guests check in with a QR code and a selfie. The next morning, checked-in guests can see the selfies of the other checked-in guests; those who left an email address get access by email. One-sided wishes stay invisible, before sends no rejections, and contact only opens if both want it. Whether that leads to a meeting is up to the guests.
